Thomas said height is the only thing separating him from basketball immortality. Asked if he’d make the Hall of Fame at 6’9”, he said, “If I was 6’2”, I’d be the greatest player of all time.” He added, “The guys at 6’8”, 6’9”, can’t do what I did at 5’9”… I know I would’ve been that guy.”
