Islam Makhachev Demands Extra Pay to Face Ilia Topuria at lightweight

Makhachev (27-1) confirmed he’s open to fighting undefeated champion Topuria (17-0) at the White House next, but wants higher pay if it happens at 155-lb (lightweight). “170 (welterweight) is better for me. If I have to cut to 155, Dana White has to pay for this,” he joked. Makhachev recently said the matchup would be “big for the MMA community.”
