J.J. McCarthy Misses 24 Games in Two Years After Latest Injury

After being ruled out on Thursday, Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy will have missed 24 of 33 possible games in his first two seasons. McCarthy lost all of 2024 to a torn meniscus, missed five games with a high ankle sprain in September 2025, and one game with a concussion in November. He's now sidelined by a hairline fracture in his right hand.
