Morant felt abandoned by his teammates and alienated during his 25-game ban while with the Grizzlies. Ja apparently hasn't gotten over that feeling even today. According to Michael C. Wright, players "were told to leave the star guard alone so he could work through the issues that led to the suspension." Ja has been determined to leave Memphis since.

Then, in the waning seconds of the game with Luka fouled out, LeBron drove hard right and Giannis stripped him of the ball with a reach-around steal. The Bucks gained possession, drained free throws, and won 105-101 with Giannis dropping 21.
