Jackson Koivun Breaks Tiger Woods’ NCAA 36-Hole Record With Back-to-Back 62s

World No. 1 amateur Jackson Koivun opened the Amer Ari Invitational with 62-62 at Mauna Lani for 20-under 124, topping Tiger Woods’ NCAA 36-hole mark (18-under 126) from 1996. The Auburn junior also tied the lowest 36-hole total score and is believed to be the first college golfer to shoot consecutive 62s. He leads ASU’s Michael Mjaaseth by two; Auburn leads Texas by four.
