Amid the current Ivey debacle of him being waived for his anti-LGBTQ remarks, he's come out and admitted to previously having suicidal thoughts. "I've almost committed suicide multiple times. I'm not ashamed to say it. God was merciful to keep me here. I had oxy pills in my hand and my wife was telling me, 'Don't do it.'"
