Jahmyr Gibbs Nearing Barry Sanders’ Under-24 Touchdown Record

Gibbs is closing in on rare Lions history. The 23-year-old scored three times on Sunday, bringing his career total to 41, just six shy of Hall of Famer Sanders’ NFL record of 47 touchdowns before age 24. Gibbs, who doesn’t turn 24 until March, also trails Randy Moss and Emmitt Smith by only two scores. With another TD Sunday night, he’ll tie Jim Brown for fourth all-time on the list.
