Jai Opetaia Beats Brandon Glanton but Loses IBF Belt as Zuffa Crowns First Champion

Opetaia stayed unbeaten by outpointing Glanton over 12 rounds in Las Vegas, but still lost his IBF cruiserweight title after the sanctioning body withdrew approval before the fight. The Australian entered 29-0 and left with Zuffa Boxing’s first belt instead, as Dana White crowned a new champion while the IBF officially declared its title vacant regardless of the result.
