Jailton Almeida Reportedly Cut by Dana White and Co. in Major Roster Shake-Up

UFC reportedly released Almeida on Feb. 11, 2026, despite his No. 8 heavyweight ranking. The move follows two straight flat outings, capped by a unanimous-decision loss to Rizvan Kuniev at UFC Vegas 113. He becomes the fourth Top-15 heavyweight cut in a year, after Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Martin Buday, and Alexandr Romanov. His next landing spot is unclear as of now.
