Jaire Alexander Returns $889K to Philadelphia Eagles After Stepping Away

Alexander repaid the Eagles $889,000 after retiring without playing for the team following a November trade. Philadelphia acquired Alexander and a 2027 seventh-round pick from Baltimore for a 2026 sixth-round selection before last season’s deadline. A week later, Alexander stepped away from football while recovering from knee surgery. Philadelphia placed Alexander on the reserve/retired list and received a salary-cap credit.
