James Harden Expected to Decline His Player Option and Sign a 2-Year Extension With Cavs

Jake Fischer has reported that Harden is expected to decline his player option and sign a contract worth around two years and $60 million. With the entire 2026-27 regular season to gel, the Cavs could make another deep playoff push next year.
