Jannik Sinner Downplays No. 1 Return, Puts Turin First

“It's not only in my hands,” Sinner said. “I just try to put the best performance on court, then whatever comes, comes.” The Italian returned to No.1 after he outslugged Felix Auger-Aliassime, 6-4, 7-6 (4), in the Paris Masters final on Monday. Sinner will “recharge” and defend his Turin crown next week, where the year-end No.1 will be decided.
