Davis didn't immediately come out of the game after injuring his left hand. The Jazz came back down the court, scored to take it to 109-107, and then Kidd took a timeout. "He felt like he was fine," Kidd said of Davis. However, AD wasn't fine, and they had to burn a late timeout to bring him off.
