Jaxson Hayes, Carter Bryant Accept Invites to 2026 NBA Slam Dunk Contest
ESPN reports the Lakers center and Spurs rookie have accepted invitations to compete during All-Star weekend in Los Angeles. Hayes returns to the contest after previous appearances, while Bryant earns his first berth as a first-year pro. With Mac McClung not returning to defend his title, we’ll have to wait for the NBA to announce the other two contestants.

Cooper Flagg Sees "Positives" In Tough Loss To Hornets On His Career Night
Flagg became the youngest player in NBA history to drop 45+ in a game, having himself 49 points on 77 TS%. The Mavs did however lose 123-121 to the Hornets. "It’s tough. We fight the whole game, been really hard, stick together through a lot of tough stuff. But, a lot of positives to take away as well," said Flagg.

Mavs HC Says Cooper Flagg’s Winning Mentality Will Make Him a “Champion Sooner Than Later”
Jason Kidd praised Flagg as a player who cares about wins and losses after he came close to carrying the Mavs to victory with his 49-point game vs. Hornets. "He's going to be a champion sooner than later," Kidd said. He added that Flagg tried willing the Mavs to the win. However, despite giving his best, they lost 123-121.

Anthony Edwards Finds Thunder Matchup "Super Personal"
Ant dropped a casual 26 points on 9-17 shooting from the field in the Wolves comfortable 123-111 win over the Thunder. Minny improves to 30-19. "It's super personal for me cuz they put us out last year and they got the reigning MVP," said Ant post-game. The Thunder gentleman swept Minnesota in the WCF in 2025.
