ESPN reports the Lakers center and Spurs rookie have accepted invitations to compete during All-Star weekend in Los Angeles. Hayes returns to the contest after previous appearances, while Bryant earns his first berth as a first-year pro. With Mac McClung not returning to defend his title, we’ll have to wait for the NBA to announce the other two contestants.

Flagg dropped a career-high 49 points, trying to will the Mavericks to a win vs. Hornets. However, Kon Knueppel led the Hornets to a 123-121 win with his career-high 34 points. Despite Flagg's clutch play, it wasn't enough as none of his teammates scored 20 points. However, Brandon Miller dropped 23 and LaMelo Ball dropped 22, supporting Knueppel.
