Commanders QB Jayden Daniels has informed LSU that it can no longer use his name, image, and likeness, according to a letter sent to athletic director Verge Ausberry on Aug. 5. The dispute centers on sophomore CB DJ Pickett wearing Daniels’ iconic No. 5 jersey, the number Daniels wore while winning LSU’s 2023 Heisman Trophy. It marks the first time No. 5 has been worn since his departure.
