Jeff Kent, All-Time Home Run King At Second Base, Elected To Hall Of Fame

Kent, the longtime Giants second baseman, was elected to Cooperstown by the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee with 14 of 16 votes. The 2000 NL MVP hit 377 homers, the most ever by a second baseman, plus 1,518 RBI and a .290/.356/.500 line. After falling short on BBWAA ballots, he'll be inducted on July 26, 2026 in Cooperstown, New York.
