Jeff Kent Reflects on Hall of Fame Honor and Long Journey

Kent called his Hall of Fame induction “a culmination of a lot of work,” spread across 17 big-league seasons and more than two decades in pro ball. He said he was always “trying to be better than the guy before me.” Now a grandfather, he insists there were still “legs left” before finally admitting “my brain just got tired.”
