Jeffrey Lurie Rules Out Home Game Sacrifice as Eagles Explore Stadium Future
Eagles owner Lurie shut down international matches rotation talk, saying, “We are not going to give up a home game… we just did that in Brazil (last season).” The stance comes as Philadelphia studies new or renovated stadium options ahead of its 2032 lease expiry. “There’s no hidden item there — you’ve got to pass a physical,” the Cowboys owner said about the Ravens backing out of the Crosby trade. “We’ve never completed an agreement until the player passes the physical. We would have had the same conditions with the physical,” he added. Jerry also confirmed that the Cowboys “were in on making an offer for him.”
