Dominican Shortstop Peña will see a hand specialist after a grounder struck his right ring finger during a game against the Detroit Tigers, injuring his nail and causing bleeding. Joe Espada said the star player even tried to stay in the game: “He wanted to keep playing.” The 2022 World Series MVP hit .304 with 17 HR, 62 RBIs and 20 steals in 2025.
