The Knicks ended their 53-year championship drought with a 94-90 victory over the Spurs, but the Jets now carry New York’s longest title drought (57 years). The franchise’s last championship came in January 1969, when Joe Namath famously guaranteed a Super Bowl III victory. That remains the Jets’ lone Super Bowl title, with a 16-7 win over Baltimore Colts.
