“Kamui was behind, pushing me. We were driving away,” said JHN after he and Kobayashi left JJ’s car in the dust during NASCAR’s Fuji Speedway demo run. Kobayashi laughed, “Yep, I’m a troublemaker,” playing along with a cheeky reporter. Johnson nodded: “The cars are very well built.” The run was part of NASCAR’s cultural exchange with Japan’s Super Taikyu Series.
