Flacco said football was tougher 15 years ago and today’s rules hurt the game. “It honestly annoys me,” Flacco told Kevin Clark, criticizing roughing penalties for light contact. “Getting slapped in the face should not change the game,” he said, adding players “signed up” for football and that excessive flags and fines now “change these games” at random moments.
