Nuggets played without any of their regular starters due to a slew of injuries and yet won in OT against a relatively healthy Sixers squad. VJ Edgecombe missing his shot led to a Bruce Brown fast-break that Embiid blocked a second too late. Maxey got a semi-clean floater look which bounced off the rim at the buzzer.

While sidelined by a knee injury, Jokic read the Sixers’ timeout play and told teammates, “It’s Maxey,” pointing out where it was going. Tyrese Maxey got the ball as predicted, drove, and missed a floater at the buzzer, letting the Nuggets escape with the win.
