Joey Browner Dies at 65 as Minnesota Vikings Mourn Ring of Honor Safety

“We’ve lost a great friend and one of the best Vikings teammates,” Steve Jordan, a former Minnesota Vikings tight end and Ring of Honor member, said after Joey Browner died at 65. Browner, a six-time Pro Bowler, recorded 37 interceptions and earned All-Pro honors while anchoring the defense during a standout nine-year run in Minnesota.
