Sumrall revealed he walked out of his Florida interview believing he “killed it” but still told his wife, “They're not going to hire me.” The former Tulane coach said landing “the Florida freaking Gators” job didn't feel real until the process continued. Sumrall also said he would've turned down the job if Florida wouldn't let him coach Tulane in the CFP.
