"I cried. I called my parents. They started crying," Alvarado said of learning he was traded to the Knicks in February. The Brooklyn native went undrafted in 2021 and is now two wins from an NBA title at MSG with his hometown team. "My wife, everybody was just so excited knowing that they are a good team."
