Josh Johnson to Start for Commanders on Christmas Day

Josh Johnson will start at quarterback for Washington on Christmas after Jayden Daniels was shut down with an elbow injury and Marcus Mariota ruled out with hand and quad issues. It marks Johnson’s first NFL start since 2021 and his ninth overall. Jeff Driskel will back him up as the two eliminated teams in the Commanders and the Cowboys square off.
