Josh Naylor Reportedly Agrees Five-Year Deal to Stay With Mariners

Seattle is set to keep trade-deadline star Naylor long term, with ESPN’s Jeff Passan reporting a five-year deal for the free-agent first baseman. Passan wrote the Mariners made him “their top priority” after his “infectious” late-season impact. Naylor hit .295 with 20 homers and 92 RBI in 2025 and posted a .340 postseason average to anchor Seattle’s lineup.
