Soto told SNY’s Anthony DiComo he plans to challenge Shohei Ohtani for NL MVP: “He better keep doing what he’s doing, because I’m coming.” While calling Ohtani “really good,” Soto added, “I’ve just got to beat him… it’s not going to be easy.” He also said he wants to improve “around the bases” and “around the outfield” while staying “better year after year.”
