Junior Caminero Says Latin MLB Players Must Keep Fighting
Jeff Passan noted that 25 to 30 percent of big leaguers are Latin American, but none sit on the MLBPA subcommittee. Caminero said players are now “more together” and “not scared,” saying, “We got to continue” fighting. The 22-year-old rejected a five-year, $200 million ceiling, citing Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Shohei Ohtani, Elly De La Cruz and Gunnar Henderson.
