Justin Gaethje Explains Headlock Plan In Paddy Pimblett Win

Asked why he used a headlock so often, Gaethje said it felt “100% safer.” He explained it opens shots: “They can’t block up top and down low, so you can land shots over the top.” Headlock is a position where a fighter traps the opponent’s head with his arm to control them. The interim lightweight champion defeated Pimblett last Saturday.
