Justin Rose’s 62 Adds Another Farmers First-Round Record

Rose’s bogey-free 62 at Torrey Pines was his second 62-or-better in 446 PGA Tour starts, per DuCharme. The only other came at the 2006 Funai Classic, when he opened with 60 and finished fourth. At 45, Rose also logged his sixth Farmers first-round lead/co-lead of the past decade, topping Jon Rahm (4). It was the lowest opener in 20 years.
