Justin Verlander to Return from IL for Weekend Series Against White Sox
Manager A.J. Hinch confirmed that Verlander will start against Chicago on Sunday. The two-time World Series champion made only one start this season before being placed on the IL with left hip inflammation. He gave up five runs in 3.2 innings against the Diamondbacks. Verlander recorded a 3.85 ERA with 137 strikeouts over 152 innings last season with the Giants.
