Kansei Matsuzawa Eyes History as First Japanese Player to Join NFL Roster
Kansei Matsuzawa, nicknamed "The Tokyo Toe," has made history as the first Japanese player to join an NFL roster through the IPP program. The Raiders signed the Hawaii standout after he impressed with a 61-yard pro day kick. Raised in Tokyo by his parents, Tetsuhara and Hiromi, his father played youth American football, and his mother was a professional golfer.
