Keegan Akin Undergoes Tommy John Surgery
The Orioles announced Akin underwent Tommy John surgery. The lefty will miss the rest of 2026 and possibly all of 2027 as well. He had been on the 60-day injured list after posting a 5.68 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP and 17 strikeouts in 25.1 innings this season, per Roch Kubatko. Akin has a history of elbow and back problems.
