Plum, the WNPA VP, confessed players still want to play as WNBA labor negotiations continue. “A strike would be the worst thing for both sides,” Plum said while talks remain ongoing. She called revenue sharing a “significant win” for players and added the union could continue negotiating how expense credits are counted in the league’s financial system.

After a layup from the Wizards, Carrington caught the ball under the rim and purposefully stood in KD's way, leading to Durant nudging him. An overexaggerated flail later and Durant was T'd up. Kevin Durant grew up 14 miles away from the Wizards arena. After dropping 30 points in the 123-118 Rockets win, he expressed excitement over Washington's future. "(Trae is) gonna make the game easier for everybody else on the floor. I'm excited for the hometown team, excited for AD to put the jersey on too and represent the city."
