Saturday’s NBA Finals Game 5 on ABC averaged 24.5 million viewers and peaked at 33 million during the closing moments of the Knicks’ championship victory. By comparison, the Giants’ last two Thanksgiving matchups against the Cowboys drew 38.8 million viewers in 2024 and 42.1 million in 2022. The 2025 NFL Thanksgiving Day slate averaged a record 44.7 million viewers.
