Mitchell has been ruled out for the Cavs' Friday night game vs. Pistons with a right groin strain. However, Jamal Colliery reported that Atkinson and the team don't believe believe Donovan Mitchell's groin injury is a "long-term thing." The Cavs may just be taking precautions with Mitchell after having played 2 back-to-back games, vs. Knicks and Bucks, respectively.

Harris got the ball in the paint, posted up and turned around for the mid-range jumper. He sank the shot with 21.5 on the clock in OT, taking a 122-119 lead. It turned out to be the final shot of the game and a dagger as the Pistons won, with the Cavaliers unable to make a shot after that.

Nikola Jokic Starts Brawl After Cheap Shot by Lu Dort
Early in the 4th quarter, while returning on defense, Dort intentionally tripped Jokic with a cheap shot. Jokic did not take kindly to the shot and quickly made his way to Dort, ready to start a brawl. Thunder players intervened, but an angry Jokic swung at Jaylin Williams. The fight was eventually stopped by refs, coaches and players together.

Jaden DeJesus Eves, a 6'8" basketball star at Christian Brothers High School, has tragically passed away at 15 years old. Reports state that he passed away in his sleep, with no further details revealed at the moment. Jaden's mother Jamie described him as her "one and only." She tearfully recalled the hugs he'd give her in between games.
