Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Exercises His Player Option With the Grizzlies
Shams Charania reported that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is exercising his $21.6 million player option for the 2026-27 season. Caldwell-Pope has struggled since signing his 3-year $66 million contract, unable to live up to his billing as a premier 3&D player. In 2025-26, KCP averaged just 8.4ppg on 31.6% shooting from 3-point range, which is worse than his 2024-25 numbers.
