Johnson shared that he was only informed of hsi participation in the Dunk contest 5 days ago and had just 2 days to practice. "I got a little banged up in a G-League game. I had 2 back-to-backs. I only had really 2 days to practice," Johnson said. Despite this, he managed to walk away the Slam Dunk Contest champion.
