Kevin Durant Breaks Karl Malone’s Record, Becomes Oldest Player With 2,000-Point Season
Durant made more history Friday, becoming the oldest player ever to score 2,000 points in a season at age 37. He reached 2,026 points, passing Malone, who scored 2,095 at 36 in 1999-2000. Durant also became the first player to hit 2,000 points in his 18th season or later, adding another rare milestone to his scoring resume.
