Khalil Rountree Calls Khamzat Chimaev a ‘Bear Trap’

The UFC’s #4-ranked light heavyweight sees no top-15 middleweight contenders defeating the undefeated (15-0) champion. Rountree said, “I don’t see anyone who shows me they have the intensity and control to deal with the problem of Khamzat. He’s just a bear trap on people with no fear and full control.” Rountree added Chimaev’s fights look like “a one-sided shutout, undeniable.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov Says He Misses the Energy, Not Fighting, After Retirement

“Not really. I miss the energy,” Khabib told Alistair Overeem during training session, adding he can “go with anybody (and fight) in the team...everybody is a world champion.” Khabib retired at UFC 254 on Oct. 24, 2020, with an unbeaten 29–0 record. He entered the UFC Hall of Fame in 2022 and now spends his time coaching and cornering his teammates.
