Khris Middleton Viewed as Likely Buyout Candidate

League sources told The Athletic they expect Middleton to remain with Washington through the deadline and become a buyout candidate. Milwaukee traded him to Wizards for Kuzma and Johnson. At 34, Middleton has shown “some signs of life” but no longer looks like a difference-maker for a contender. He is averaging 9.8 points, four rebounds, and 3.3 assists this season.
