Kings Want To Keep Zach Lavine On Their Roster
Zach Lavine opted into his $48,967,380 player option in late June. He is set to become an unrestricted free agent int he summer of 2027. The Kings, after this opt-in, have "no plans to buy out" Lavine. This comes after they waived DeMar DeRozan. Lavine averaged 19.2 points on 47.9 FG% in 39 games for the Kings in 2025-26.
