Thompson said the confrontation with Morant had no depth. "It’s funny to run your mouth when you’re on the bench," Thompson said before expressing disappointment in Morant's career development. He thinks Ja has superstar potential but is allowing off-court distractions to ruin it. Thompson says being a superstar takes lots of responsibility and doesn't want Morant to waste his career.
