Mainoo’s proposed new Manchester United contract will reportedly raise his basic wage to around $155,000 a week, marking a major jump for the 20-year-old midfielder. The academy graduate has reestablished himself under Michael Carrick after slipping out of favor under previous manager Ruben Amorim earlier this season.
