Kristaps Porzingis Hasn't Found This Season To Be Enjoyable

Kristaps has gotten traded twice in less than a year and currently dealing with left Achilles tendonitis. "Tough, honestly," said KP on what this season has been like for him. "Not the most enjoyable season, especially since that playoffs, then the summer-time I was healthy, I was good. And then kind of up-and-down this season, not playing too much."

Valanciunas and Niederhauser were jostling for position under the basket after a free throw attempt. After Bruce Brown hit the free throw, they remained tangled up and things got heated. Bennedict Mathurin, Kris Dunn, and Valanciunas got into a shoving match that fortunately didn't turn into a fight. Jonas, Mathurin and Dunn we're all given technical fouls upon review.

Kristaps Porzingis Wanted To Extend His Minutes Played Vs Celtics

Kristaps returned from his left Achilles tendonitis injury tonight but was on a minutes restriction. Coming off the bench, he played 17:15 minutes and dropped 12 points on an efficient 5-9 shooting. "I would say as quickly as possible," said KP on wanting to build his minute limit. "Even tonight, I would’ve liked to go a little bit longer."

Steve Kerr Was Happy With Kristaps Porzingis’ Debut, Thought He “Looked Good” vs. Celtics

Kerr admitted that it's never easy for a player to go into a new team with just one practice but he thought Porzingis looked good. "You can see his talent, his feel for the game, his ability to space the floor," Kerr said. Porzingis got 12 points and one block in his 17 minutes of play on 2-5 3-point shooting.
