Kyle Lowry Retires From the NBA, Set to Sign One-Day Contract to Finish as a Raptor

Lowry is signing a one-day contract to retire with Toronto, according to Michael Grange. The Raptors have planned a July 7 press conference, calling it a “monumental moment” in franchise history. The ceremony is also expected to pave the way for Lowry's No. 7 jersey retirement during the 2026-27 season, honoring his career as one of the Raptors' greatest players.
