Kyle Shanahan Suffered Broken Ribs, Concussion in July Car Accident

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan suffered multiple injuries in a July 14 car accident, including a broken nose, three broken ribs, a broken hand, a severe concussion and more than 40 stitches to his face. According to ESPN, Shanahan is expected to be limited as training camp begins while assistant head coach Chris Foerster helps oversee team operations.
