Kyler Murray said his relationship with J.J. McCarthy has “been great” as the two compete for the starting quarterback job with the Minnesota Vikings. Murray said he’s embraced a veteran role by helping McCarthy with advice and preparation, while praising the younger quarterback for being “overly acceptive” and eager to learn. Both quarterbacks are expected to battle throughout the offseason program.
